To: Audit Team A From: Carine Ng Shi HuiSubject: The Need to Foster Effective Communication within Our Team Dear all, Thank you for your continuing efforts to meet our company’s ten per cent average annual growth rate and profit targets, despite the increasing competition in the auditing industry. I do appreciate your hard work in striving the best interest of our company. However, there are several issues which I would like to address. Firstly, our team’s performance and quality of service have been deteriorating for the past two years.

As a result, some of our team members had either lost their jobs or assigned to other departments. Secondly, I realised that conflicts are often rife in our team due to poor communication and misinterpretation of issues. Thus, these issues emphasise the need for us to improve our communication skills so that we could work more productively and harmoniously.  With that, I would like to focus on building a cohesive team through effective communication. I truly believe that effective communication is essential for our team because it helps us to improve our mutual trust, understanding, and confidence with one another. Therefore, I would like to hold a meeting every week to discuss our plans, goals, and challenges together as a team.

With discussion, I believe that our team will be able to work more efficiently, thereby improving our team’s performance and morale in the long run. Hence, I would like to encourage everyone to share your ideas and opinions confidently and actively with the team. Thank you for your kind attention.
