The distributed system is evaluatedas the individual system by the user or application programmer.

Theuser should be ignorant of where the resources and files are occupying and alsothe transferring from a local machine to a remote one should be transparent.  Transparency fabricatesthe system simple and efficient. There are different types of transparencywhich is to combine the distributed system.

Transparency in access control carried out where the user is not required or not competent to understand whether the resource (hardware or software) is remote or local. Distributed operating systems permit users to access remote resources in the same way as local resources.Transparency in location control is mentioned in two aspects as name transparency and user mobility. The name transparency will identify the resource (hardware or software) name and any sign should not emerge as the physical location of the resource. The resources which are taken from one node to the other should be allowed to move without changing their name.

User mobility is relevant to the basis that no matter which machine a user is logged onto he or she should be capable to access a resource with the equal name. That is the user should not need to use distinct names to access identical resources from two isolated nodes of the system.Replication transparency states that replicas (extra copies) of files and other resources are constructed for better achievement and authenticity of systems on distinct nodes of distributed operating systems. Users of distributed operating systems should be unconcerned of the replication of data.

It is the responsibility of the distributed system to handle replication affair, which are naming of replicas and replication control. The system should arrange an appropriate name to the replicas and the decision to administer the replication such as how many copies of resources should be made or eliminated should be done absolutely by the system automatically in a user transparent manner.Failure transparency in distributed system appears the extent to which errors and failures and later recoveries of hosts and services within the system are invisible to users and applications. If the files are replicated, the partial failure of the system can be managed by providing resources from alternative nodes. Full failure transparency cannot be accomplished by a distributed system, because all types of failures cannot be curbed in a user transparent manner. Migrationtransparency in distributed operating system allows the user to be unaware ofthe movement of information or processes within a system without disturbing theprocedures of the users and the applications that are running.

In distributedsystem an object is migrated from one node to another for better achievement,reliability and security reasons. Migration decisions are automatically takenby the system such as what object should be moved from where.The distributed system allows its users to use systemresources simultaneously. Users can use their resources without interrupting betweeneach other. Concurrency does not reduce the performance of the system
