Familiesshould expect coordinated support and the service need to make it a reality. TheNHS help children and young people because there make sure the needs are meetat home. Therefore, this will benefit children who have been impacted withdisabilities massively because there will ensure that the child hasopportunities to attend schools with the support that is required.
The nurseswithin the hospital are required to ensure staff in schools and colleges have agood level of support and training to work with children and young people witha learning disability. Children and young people should receive the correctsupport in terms of developing and maintaining positive relationships to reducethe risk of social isolation. Therefore, with the help of this support childrenwill feel less vulnerable as there will be able to reduce the chances offeeling vulnerable.
It is vital that the staff in the NHS provide these factorsas this is essential in terms of the child’s needs. The nurses should be ableto make reasonable adjustments as this will allow children to access a range ofuniversal services. These universal services may include the following:Childcare, Playgroups, Playgrounds, Youth clubs, Sports, and Leisure. The TCPs should ensure high aspirations forchildren and young people with a learning disability, autism or both bycommissioning a full range of training grounded in equality and inclusion forstaff working in a wide range of universal and specialist settings; includingtraining on the social model of disability, learning disabilities and autism,supporting children who display behavior that challenges, and why supportingparents and carers is important. The NHS are required to have a duty of care.There should provide resources for children and these disability Mattersmaterials which have been co-produced with parents and carers and young peopleincluding those with these this range of needs.

This will benefit children as there will bemaking sure that teachers are doing the job correctly and making the child thepriority. Within the process of going to the school Ofsted will also publish asthis will give them a better indication as to what the schools need to do, toimprove the quality of the child’s education. There will also regulate a range of early years and children’s social care services, making surethey’re suitable for children and potentially vulnerable young people. Thecentral government also provide social services and there are responsible forassessing the needs of services. Social services have the responsibility ofmaking sure that all children and safe, there also have the responsibility toencourage the welfare of vulnerable children and adults. This will benefitfamilies massively as social services will be able to provide a wide range ofservices for children and their parents. However, families may feel anxious asin terms of social services getting involved as there may feel as if there willbe removed from their home.
