A person body can be classified in three body types whichare mesomorph, endomorph and ectomorph. Mesomorph have characteristics ofwell-built and muscular, with a very high metabolism and responsive musclecells. The last body type is Ectomorph who are usually identified as skinny andthey tend to have light build with small joints and lean muscles. Opposite toEndos, Ectos find it very hard top gain weight they need a large amount ofcalories in order to gain weight as they have fast metabolism rate thereforethey calories really fast.Physiological:Aerobic endurance and Anaerobic:An athlete with a very good aerobic capacity are usuallygood at sport that requires a lot energy therefore you will need to use a lotoxygen e.g. marathon as it requires an athlete to run a very long distancetherefore they will need to use oxygen to produce energy. Whereas, anaerobiccapacity refers to the ability to exercise without using oxygen which meansthat it will only be useful in short, explosive sports such as 100m sprintingas it requires an athlete to run as fast they can in the short amount of time.Sociological:Opportunities for deliberate practice:The more opportunities available for an athlete to practice,the quicker the athlete will develop their strategic skills, game intelligenceand also improve their individual skills such as passing, sprinting shootingetc.

Alsohaving game intelligence will allow an athlete to read the game quickly andidentify his teammates and therefore making them a very good team player whichmost of the team sport coaches look for when identifying players. Obstacles:Injuries:When training or competing against another team the firstobstacles an athlete faces is injury as a slight in injury can affect theirtraining or match which then gets worst and affect their whole career thereforeinjury is something that could prevent an athlete successful in most sports. Sowhen exercising an athlete needs to be careful not to injure themselves as itcould cause a serious problem in their sport career.
