Introduction:

There are many problems
in our society but the problem which is very common and forcing our country to
not grow Economically is Child Labor.  Work
that doesn’t let Children enjoy Childhood, unable to recognize their potential
and their respect, and that is not good for their health, physically and
mentally desctructive is  Known as Child
Labour. Child labour is rationally, socially, hazardous and destructive to
youngsters; and  meddles with their
tutoring by:  Not letting them go to
school to seek Education, obliging them to leave school or expecting them to
endeavor to consolidate school participation with too much long and substantial
work.

Economic reasons are
the most important in determining Child labour. Most Children work due to
economic problems. Many families are financially very poor and cannot afford to
buy books for their children as a result they send their children to work in
order to earn some money. Our Society ranks people not according to their deeds
but the people have sufficient money to live our ranked above all. So financially
the families which are poor have to earn money to have some status in society,
Otherwise they will be unable to live in society, This is very important Reason
of Child Labour.

Pakistani Government
have announced billions of rupees worth of Projects regarding free education of
Children so that every child is able to study but, imperative viewpoint with
respect to political reasons of  Child
Labour was absence of monitoring by government agencies. Laws regarding Child
Labour do exist but they are not being monitored as  they should be.

The administration
needs to guarantee that work laws are appropriately actualized at a working
environment where youngsters are working. It should also ensure that children
are not involved in labour hazardous to their health. The law relating to their
working hours and wages should also be effectively implemented so that children
could give more time to their education and other activities needed for their
normal development.

We have used scholarly
literature as to read different Statistics about child labour, not in Pakistan
but also of different countries. We managed to understand the problem reading
different articles and studying solutions to this problem.

Review
of Literature:

Child Labour is common
in deveopling countries and there is empirical evidences as well as growing
literature on these issues. Two main characteristics of Asian child labour that
distinguish it from child labour elsewhere is that a large part of Asian child
labour is in the form of child domestic workers; and the bulk of Asian child
labour is in the 10–14 years age group ( Ray, 2004)

A research conducted on
Peru and Pakistan shows that Rising wages of adult female labour in Pakistan,
and falling adult male wage in Peru lead to increased participation of children
in the labour market.
