Drones have been so convincing to be highly beneficial inareas where man cannot reach or is unable to perform in a timely and efficientmanner, from quick deliveries at rush hour to examine an unreachable risky area. It increasing task efficiency andproductivity, decreasing workload, risk and production costs, improving accuracyand resolving security issues on a broad scale.Whether drones are controlled bya remote control or via mobile devices app, they have the capability ofreaching the most remote area with little to no manpower needed and require theleast amount of effort, time and energy.
1.1.Drone Technology HistoryA drone, in a technologicalcontext, is an unmanned aircraft. There are more formally known as unmannedaerial vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned aircraft systems (UASes). As we known droneis a flying robot because the aircrafts may be remotely controlled or can flyautonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded systemsworking in conjunction with onboard sensors and GPS. Drones have been around for more than two decades, buttheir roots date back to World War I when both The U.S. and France worked ondeveloping automatic, unmanned airplanes.
However, the last few years have beensignificant in terms of drone adoption, usage expansion across industries andglobal awareness which include aerial photography, express delivery,information gathering, rescue operations, geographic mapping, safetyinspections and others. 2.Drones for S.A.R. OperationA search and rescue drone isan unmanned aircraft used by emergency services, such as police officers,firefighters or rescue teams. Its ideal for searching over vast areas formissing persons, and crime victims in need of rescue in any environment.
Dronesalso can provide real-time visual information and data in the aftermath ofnatural disaster such as flood and earthquake. They can become an eye in thesky to locate a lost person or disaster location even in the most remote area.Thus, search and rescue operations can greatly benefit from the use of dronesto surver the environment and collect evidences about disasters and accidents.However, there is some fundemental need to be accounted in using the technologysuch as quality of sensory data collected, drones energy limitation,eviromental hazard and level of information exchange. 2.1.S.

Why is can be a surveillance becausesome cases such as landslide rescurer can used UAVs for search prey who havetrap or still life. They are not waste time to find as manually and reducingthe risk of accidental rescue.
Besides that, some cases been happend in Malaysia is thehelicopter crashed. According to Berita Harian (2007), Nuri helicopterbelonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force with six members crashed nearGenting Sempah Tunnel, Genting Highlands, Pahang on Friday, July 13, 2007 whiletraveling from Sungai Besi Airport to Kuantan Air Base, Pahang. Sikorsky’shelicopter was reported missing at 9.15am, about 10 minutes after departure. Amission searching and rescue victims took a long time because recurer can findthat area and due requiring command services.
Natural disaster like Sabah earthquake in 2015 whichstruck the area of Mount Kinabalu and cause of 18 death and other 137 peoplestranded on the mount. Save and recsue operation were also delayed because ofthe damage and casualites cause by the earthquake, UAVs technology can bebenefited on this kind of situation in order to save people life. The samesituation happened in other disaster which occur more in our country such aslandslide and flood. For facilitate rescure, this UAVs must to used find avictims and which area must to rescure. Goverment need to think a benifits ofUAVs for a safety of the people and the savior to reduce energy wastage in amission. In addition, we know December is a monsoon season some areas such aseast and north coast states often flooded. Nowdays has recently been shocked bythe Penang that floods were hit by severe floods until the city was flooded. Some rescure were unable to enter the floodplain due tothe breakdown of entry points due to high water levels.
They had to use a boatand took a long time to channel their help. When UAVs used for that missionrescurer can directly find which area have victims who are still trapped.Victims who has life can be save and rescure not waste time to find area byarea. 3.Benefits of Drone in S.A.R OperationThere a lot of factor can bebenefited from UAVs use in SAR operation and this advantages can be use toimprove the effeciency of the operation.
Thus, here are the main factors whichinfluenced by the drone technology and can be benefited by the teams of SAR. 3.1.Environmental MappingAhead of the UAVsdeployment, mapping provide a significant added value since it helped the teamsunderstand the response environmental context much better.
However, it wasalmost unrealistic to expect that high resolution maps could be produced whenwork in emergency situation which the teams need to done their job remotely andwirelessly. Less but not least, they can be prepared any possibility to thedisaster and risk reduction activities which the SAR team need to respond 3.2.Decision MakingFor search and rescue teamsthat often means having difficult decisions, such as where to look first andwhat risks to accept for themselves while responding to an emergency. In thesituation of emergency, the SAR team also expose to risk of the disaster andhazard. Thus, UAVs can help the teams in making decision in order to reduce therisk exposed to them and the victims itself.
During search and resueoperations, time is critical. Injured survivirs of a disaster might be trapped,and finfing them quickly can literally be a question of life and death. Effectivedecision making also can improve the performance and reduce the time taken toexecute the operation by overseeing the environment situation. 4.
